Terms and Conditions
- This service is available across all centres of Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals in Sultanate of Oman. The list of the doctors who are available for video consultation is listed in the video consultation platform.
- You booking of video consultation will be considered as your consent for option for virtual video consultation in-spite of limitations.
- The doctor may ask you for a personal visit in case your medical condition needs the same.
- The consultation fee or any other charge related to the video consultation is not refundable.
- We value your privacy, our video consultation system assures that you identity and medical information will be kept confidential at all times.
- We are offering the video consultation services for only cash patients; insurance is not covered under this.
- Your e-prescription will be sent to your email and a copy will be provided to the pharmacy and billing of the particular hospital you have chosen for your video-consultation.
- Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals reserves all rights to reschedule and cancel appointments and the same will be informed to you over a call or by email and SMS.
Disclaimer
- By requesting a video consultation you are also confirming that Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals will not be responsible for an act of omission which in a personal consultation might have avoided and do confirm that every detail about your condition will be mentioned to the doctor.
- Video consultation service is the way of reaching out to patients who require medical attention during the current challenging times of lock-down.
- Video consultation should not be compared with in-person consultation as in the former physical evaluation is not possible.
- In-case it is difficult for you to reach to hospital due to movement restriction or due to fear of pandemic you can consult on video, whenever possible you can visit in-person to hospital.
- Whenever you’ll come to hospital next, appraise the doctor with the video consultation discussion and prescription including investigations and medications.
- In-case you are suffering from a critical condition and in-case you don’t find much improvement, kindly visit to your nearest hospital or medical centre..
- While at Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals we will make the experience best for you and be very careful in dealing with your medical condition with physical evaluation, considering the virtual platform unforeseen situations may occur.
- As physical examination is not done in case of video consultation, Badr Al Samaa will not be responsible for the diagnosis quality beyond certain level depending on a case to case basis.
