About DR Cheryl Persis Petit
Dr. Cheryl Persis Petit is well trained and experienced in the
assessment, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders. Dr. Cheryl Persis
Petit is proficient in the use of
therapeutic communication techniques to establish rapport and deliver care to
patients with mental health problems. She
provides treatment to patients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, major
depression and anxiety spectrum disorders with psychopharmacology and
psychotherapy. Offer supportive and
cognitive behavior therapy for patients with depression and anxiety disorders. She
provides consultation liaison with other specialties for delirium and
dissociative disorders. She works with
patient’s family in explaining and educating about illness, course and
prognosis.
